PROFIL Einmal jährlich präsentiert POOL Tanzfilmproduktionen aus aller Welt und ist Treffpunkt Kreativschaffender aus Tanz, Film sowie der Fashion- und Werbeszene. Der Fokus des Festivals liegt auf Filmen, die Tanz nicht dokumentieren, sondern mittels Kamerabewegung, Schnitt etc. eigenständige Filmchoreogaphien entstehen lassen.

TEILNAHME
Bewerben können sich alle Tänzer*innen, Choreograph*innen, Filmemacher*innen und Künstler*innen mit Tanzkurzfilmen und Tanzanimationen. Die Filme sollten eine Länge von 30 Minuten nicht überschreiten und keine pure Dokumentation einer Performance sein.

TEILNAHMEUNTERLAGEN Anmeldungen sind komplett online möglich. - Sichtungslink (kann im Anmeldeformular eingetragen werden) Nur wenn der Film für das Programm ausgewählt wird:

WETTBEWERBSPROGRAMM & PEARLS Aus allen Einsendungen erstellt das Kuratorenteam von POOL 20 ein Filmprogramm und wählt die Gewinnerfilme, die PEARLS 20, aus. PEARLS sind die gleichberechtigten Gewinnerfilme von POOL und werden mit einem Preisgeld ausgezeichnet. An Künstler*innen, die kontinuierlich herausragende Arbeiten im Bereich Tanzfilm produzieren, wird der PEARLS ARTIST PRIZE vergeben.

PROFILE
Every year POOL presents a selection of fascinating dance film productions from all over the world, making the event a meeting place for creatives involved in the fields of dance, film, fashion and advertisement. The focus of the festival is on films that not only record dance but create independent filmchoreographies through the intense interplay between dance and cinematic tools like camera and editing.

PARTICIPATION All dancers, choreographers, filmmakers and artists are invited to apply with short filmchoreographies and dance animations. Films should not be longer than 30 minutes and no documentation of a dance piece.

PEARLS are the equal winner films of POOL – INTERNATIONALES TanzFilmFestival BERLIN and will be honored with a prize money. Outstanding artists who are continuously working in the field of dance film will be awarded with the PEARLS ARTIST PRIZE.
